Laing Homes (East Midlands)

James Laing built his first house in Sebergham, Cumberland, in 1848. That first house still stands and over the years tens of thousands of other homes have been built under the Laing name in England and Scotland.

So the Laing Homes name has been synonymous with high-quality housing for more than 150 years. Laing Homes is a trading name of Taylor Wimpey UK Limited, which is a subsidiary of Taylor Wimpey plc, our strategy is to enhance and expand our share of the market by developing products and skills, and improving our customer services.

Much of Laing Homes' success stems from our decentralised structure. This lets us develop a clear understanding of the particular needs of the regions we operate in, and create a variety of individual homes tailored to suit each separate development.
